Rudiment Rhythms #2- Paradiddle- Diddle

Rudiment Rhythms is a chance for Drum Hub students to see the application of a rudiment in action! There is a free downloadable transcription for each episode for you to learn!

In this episode, I am playing a groove made from paradiddle- diddles (RLRRLL). Usually the paradiddle- diddle is played as 16th note triplets, but in this groove I am playing it as a 32nd note lick, experiment with the timing of this rudiment to see what ideas you can create based from this pattern!

All filming is by Zachi Solosho, so make sure to check out his work on instagram! @Zakisolosho
