In this course, you will learn to take the patterns you already know through a system that turns them into musical phrasing. So if you feel like you are stuck always playing the same ideas or the new phrases you learn don’t ever seem to come out in your playing, this course is the perfect next step!
Inside you will find 3 chapters, splitting the concepts into:
1) Groove Freedom - Learn to embellish a groove and improvise freely whilst keeping the foundation of the groove locked in!
2) Fill Freedom - This is where your patterns become phrasing as you learn the simple systems I use to create more interesting fills on the kit!
3) Improvisation Concepts - Learn simple and actionable strategies for improvising and creating new ideas in the moment!
These chapters can be taken as 3 ‘mini courses’ based on your drumming goals or as 1 beast of a course that will allow you to play the way you hear in your head!
